We took a quick 2 hour 45 minute jaunt to Rome today. The new Fressciarossa trains go approximately 300 km/hr, and are highly recommended. Plus, the wifi costs $0.01, which makes the boys happy.
We arrived in Rome, and our room is beautiful. It’s not in a traditional hotel, but is in an apartment building near the Pantheon. Bambino approves.
We spent the day exploring Rome. We hit the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and a couple beautiful neighborhood churches. Bambino likes cacio e pepe, in case you wondered. The street musicians are fantastic too.
We finished our day with dinner on the Campo de’ Fiori. Today, futbol!>

Yay! So glad you like the room 🙂 Now please…. for the love of all things Italian (and does the love there ever end?!) can we get together?! I know… working moms we have so very few moments available.
